Writer and producer Brannon Braga was a key part of the creative team behind many post-1980s Star Trek television shows. Braga began writing for "Star Trek: The Next Generation" in '90, and became a producer on the series three year later. During the mid-'90s, Braga co-wrote two franchise films-"Star Trek: Generations" and "Star Trek: First Contact"-with Ronald D. Moore, and also joined the writing/producing team behind "Star Trek: Voyager." In 2001, he and Rick Berman created the prequel series "Star Trek: Enterprise," and Braga remained a show runner throughout the program's four-season stint. Given his divisive reputation among Trekkies and the franchise's decline, Braga subsequently broke from the Star Trek franchise, and went on to create the TV shows "Threshold" and "FlashForward," but both were cancelled within their first seasons. Also writing and producing episodes of the thriller "24" towards the end of the series, Braga began a new sci-fi project, "Terra Nova," in 2010.
