Chris Harrison
During his long career in broadcasting, Chris Harrison hosted numerous reality shows, including HGTV's top-rated "Designers' Challenge" (2000-09) and the TV Guide Channel's "Hollywood 411" (2008-11). But as America's television Cupid, Harrison gained his greatest mainstream success as host of ABC's reality dating franchises, "The Bachelor" (2002- ) and "The Bachelorette" (2003- ), where he made it look easy for the shows' contestants to find their soulmate (or their 15 minutes of fame) in front of millions of viewers. On "The Bachelor," he was the voice of reason amidst a sea of scantily dressed female contestants who had no qualms displaying their assets to win the bachelor's heart. On "The Bachelorette," the ever-charming Harrison played confidante to each season's sensitive bachelorette who really appeared to be looking for a husband. Sure the romantic locations, back-stabbing and stolen kisses only widened the series' fan base, but with each passing season, Harrison's calming, dependable presence helped make him just as big a draw as the lovelorn hopefuls handing out roses in their quest for true love.
