Ed McNamara

Ed McNamara was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. McNamara began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the dramedy "Johnny Come Lately" (1943) with James Cagney, the Joan Bennett crime adaptation "Margin For Error" (1943) and the Brenda Vaccaro horror film "Death Weekend" (1976). He also appeared in the TV movie "Goldenrod" (CBS, 1976-77). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Silver Streak" (1976) with Gene Wilder, the dramatic adventure "The Black Stallion" (1980) with Kelly Reno and the drama "Gentle Sinners" (1984) with Christopher Earle. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Bayo" (1985) and "Stitches" (1986) with Parker Stevenson. Additionally, he appeared on the television special "The Town Where No One Got Off" (HBO, 1985-86). Most recently, McNamara worked on "The 4th Floor" (HBO, 1999-2000).
