Eddie Spears was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Spears began his career with roles in "DreamKeeper" (2003-04), the Ryan Gosling sports drama "The Slaughter Rule" (2003) and the dramatic sports film "Black Cloud" (2004) with Ricky Schroder. He went on to act in "Into the West" (2004-05), "Edge of America" (Showtime, 2005-06) and "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" (HBO, 2006-07). He also appeared in "Comanche Moon" (2007-08), "Hell on Wheels" (AMC, 2011-16) and "Sleepy Hollow" (Fox, 2013-). More recently, Spears acted in the horror movie "Bone Tomahawk" (2015) with Kurt Russell.
