Frederick Burtwell was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1931, he made his screen debut in "Other People's Sins." In 1935, he appeared in Carol Read's "Midshipman Easy." In 1943, he appeared in Anthony Asquith's war drama "We Dive At Dawn." Burtwell began his career with a role in "Doctor Syn" (1937). Burtwell made film his next project, appearing in "Le Monsieur de minuit" (1938). Later in his career, Burtwell acted in the Margaret Lockwood dramatic adaptation "The Stars Look Down" (1939). Burtwell passed away in November 1948.
