Hal Havins was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Havins's acting career began mostly with his roles in various films, such as the Linnea Quigley comedic fantasy "Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama" (1988), "Night of the Demons" (1988) and the thriller sequel "Witchtrap" (1989) with James W Quinn. He also appeared in the TV movie "Blue de Ville" (NBC, 1986-87). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Roomies" (NBC, 1986-87) and "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000). He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in the comedy "Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael" (1990) with Winona Ryder and "Life" (1999) with Eddie Murphy. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Line of Fire: The Morris Dees Story" (NBC, 1990-91). Recently, he tackled roles on "Monk" (2001-09), "L.A. Dragnet" (2002-04) and "Las Vegas" (NBC, 2003-08). He also was featured in the TV movie "The Governor's Wife" (Lifetime Movie Network, 2007-08). Havins most recently acted on "Awake" (NBC, 2011-12).
