Iqbal Theba
Iqbal Theba was an accomplished actor, noted for his comedic timing in his roles for television shows. At the beginning of his acting career, Theba appeared in various television sitcoms like "Dream On" (HBO, 1990-96), "Living Single" (Fox, 1992-98) and "Mad About You" (NBC, 1992-99). He also appeared in "The George Carlin Show" (Fox, 1993-95). In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Theba held acting roles in films like the Robert Redford hit dramatic adaptation "Indecent Proposal" (1993). He continued his comedic performances throughout the nineties, appearing on"Ned and Stacey" (1995-97). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the James LeGros comedy "Just Looking" (1997) and "Sour Grapes" (1998). In the early 2000s and the 2010s, he then appeared in "Blind Dating" (2007) with Chris Pine and the Gerard Butler dramedy "Playing For Keeps" (2012). Theba's distinctive voice can be heard on the dramatic adaptation "The Kite Runner" (2007) with Shaun Toub. Most recently, Theba acted on "The Brink" (HBO, 2014-).
