Jack Walsh rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Walsh's earliest roles were in film, including the comedic drama "Educating Rita" (1983) with Michael Caine, "Straight Talk" (1992) with Dolly Parton and "Equinox" (1993) starring Matthew Modine. He also appeared in the Sean McGinley comedy "The Family" (1994) and "Feeling Minnesota" (1996). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Walsh devoted his time to various credits, such as "Atlanta Symphony: Christmas With Robert Shaw" (PBS, 1998-99), "Jessye Norman -- A Holiday Homecoming" (PBS, 1998-99) and "The Straight Story" (1999). He also worked on "Here on Earth" (2000) starring Chris Klein. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Scrubs" (2001-2010). He also was featured in the TV movie "Bobbie's Girl" (Showtime, 2001-02). Most recently, Walsh acted in the Patrick Wilson horror sequel "Insidious: Chapter 2" (2013).
