Janet Jones
Janet Jones has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout her acting career. Jones had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the Marc Singer adventure "The Beastmaster" (1982), "Staying Alive" (1983) with John Travolta and the Matt Dillon comedic drama "The Flamingo Kid" (1984). She also appeared in the Michael Douglas dramatic adaptation "A Chorus Line" (1985) and "American Anthem" (1986). She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Dance Fever" (1979-1983). She also appeared in the TV special "Voices That Care" (Fox, 1990-91). She next focused her entertainment career on film, appearing in the action film "Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach" (1988) with Bubba Smith and the Tom Hanks hit sports comedy "A League of Their Own" (1992). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Brooklyn South" (CBS, 1997-98). Jones had a number of different projects under her belt in the early 2000s, including "Top Ten Mexican Beach Resorts" (Travel Channel, 2000-01), "Find & Design" (A&E Network, 2004-05) and "Robert Klein: The Amorous Busboy of Decatur Avenue" (HBO, 2005-06). Her credits also expanded to "Alpha Dog" (2007) and "Two Tickets to Paradise" (2008). Most recently, Jones acted in the dramatic adaptation "Palo Alto" (2014) with Emma Roberts.
