Javicia Leslie
Javicia Leslie became a recognizable face on television throughout the early 21st Century. Born in Augsburg, Germany, Leslie was raised in Upper Marlboro, MD, just outside of Washington, D.C. Her career started off with appearances in short films and commercials, as well as small theater productions, including such works as "Seven Guitars," "For Colored Girls," and "Chicago." Leslie made her screen debut in the made for TV movie "Killer Coach" (Lifetime 2016), before enjoying a small arc on the rebooted version of "MacGyver" (CBS, 2016-). In 2018, Leslie got her big break when she was cast as a series regular on the series "God Friended Me" (CBS, 2018-), a dramedy about an outspoken atheist who gets a friend request from a deity.
