Jennifer Ashton

Jennifer Lee Garfein Ashton, born on April 23, 1969, is a physician, author, and television medical correspondent. She began her career as a practicing OB-GYN before transitioning into media, becoming a leading voice on health matters. Ashton joined ABC News as their Chief Medical Correspondent and has been a regular on shows like "Good Morning America" (ABC, 1975- ) and "The View" (ABC, 1997- ).
