Joel Kim Booster

Born on February 29, 1988, Joel Kim Booster is an American actor, comedian, producer and writer. While living in Chicago, Booster began his stand-up career opening up for plays in Chicago's theater scene. In 2014, he moved to New York to pursue a career in comedy. He performed on "Conan" in 2016. He then appeared in his own "Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents" special in 2017. Booster has written for "Billy on the Street," "Big Mouth" and "The Other Two." On November 3, 2018, he released his debut stand-up album, "Model Minority." Booster starred in the YouTube original film "Viper Club," Netflix's "The Week Of" and Hulu's "Shrill." Booster appeared on the December 8, 2020 episode of "The George Lucas Talk Show." Booster wrote and starred in the 2022 film "Fire Island," streaming on Hulu. In 2022, Joel Kim Booster released a stand-up special called "Joel Kim Booster: Psychosexual" on Netflix.
