John Eisendrath
Television writer and producer John Eisendrath began his career with on a self-referential note, scripting episodes of "TV 101," a sitcom about TV-news photographer who goes back to high school, and "WIOU," a TV-studio-set drama on which Eisendrath also produced. The small-screen veteran became closely associated with the prime-time soap trend of the 1990s, writing and producing installments of the short-lived shows "Malibu Shores" and "Models Inc." before becoming an integral part of the genre mainstay "Beverly Hills, 90210." Shortly thereafter, Eisendrath formed a largely successful partnership with mega-producer J.J. Abrams that led to Eisendrath's writing and producing dozens of episodes on the college drama "Felicity" and the espionage thriller "Alias." While the Abrams-and-Eisendrath-created bounty-hunter pilot "The Catch" (2005) wasn't picked up for a series, Eisendrath continued his reign over TV action with the New Orleans cop show "K-Ville" and the tricky spy drama "My Own Worst Enemy." He created his own series in 2010 with the legal drama "Outlaw," in which a former Supreme Court Justice starts his own practice.
