      Birthday: Mar 9, 1979

      Birthplace: Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA

Jordan Klepper honed his craft on the Chicago and New York improv circuit before replacing John Oliver as a correspondent on "The Daily Show" (Comedy Central, 1996-). Born in Kalamazoo, MI, Klepper graduated from his hometown's liberal arts college with a degree in Math and Theater and spent the first ten years of his career in the field of improv, first as a member of Chicago's Second City and then as a performer with New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Klepper first appeared on screen as the host of irreverent sports show "Friday Night Tailgate" (Big Ten Network, 2008-2011) before making his acting debut alongside comedian wife Laura Grey in "Tmi" (2011), the first of several comedy shorts that the pair would also write and produce together. A year later, Klepper appeared as a contestant on game show spoof "Bunk" (IFC, 2012), guested on twenty-something comedy "I Just Want My Pants Back" (MTV, 2012) and ventured into the film world with a small part in indie drama "Ex-Girlfriends" (2012). Klepper's profile hit new heights in 2014 when he was appointed correspondent on "The Daily Show" (Comedy Central, 1996-), famously making his first appearance just four days after his audition.
