Judith Furse
Judith Furse was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Furse started her acting career landing roles in such films as the Robert Donat drama "Goodbye, Mr. Chips" (1939), "Black Narcissus" (1947) and "The Heart of the Matter" (1954). She also appeared in "The Cockleshell Heroes" (1956). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "Blue Murder at St. Trinian's" (1957), the Dirk Bogarde adaptation sequel "Doctor at Large" (1957) and the Denholm Elliott mystery "Scent of Mystery" (1960). She also appeared in "I Thank a Fool" (1962) with Susan Hayward. In the latter half of her career, she tackled roles in the comedy adaptation "Live Now - Pay Later" (1962) with Ian Hendry, "Carry on Spying" (1964) with Kenneth Williams and the comedic adaptation "The Amorous Adventures of Moll Flanders" (1965) with Kim Novak. She also appeared in the Hayley Mills drama "Gypsy Girl" (1966). Furse more recently acted in the comedy "Carry on Cabby" (1967) with Sidney James. Furse passed away in August 1974 at the age of 62.
