Julian Orchard was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Orchard's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the action movie "Hide and Seek" (1964) with Ian Carmichael, "Carry on Doctor" (1968) with Frankie Howerd and "Can Heironymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?" (1969) with Anthony Newley. He also appeared in "Futtocks End" (1969). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, appearing in "The Nine Ages of Nakedness" (1969) starring George Harrison Marks"Perfect Friday" (1970) and the comedy "The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother" (1975) with Gene Wilder. He also appeared in "Keep It Up Downstairs" (1976). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "The Slipper and the Rose" (1976) with Richard Chamberlain, the comedy "Adventures of a Private Eye" (1977) with Hilary Pritchard and the historical film "Crossed Swords" (1978) with Oliver Reed. He also appeared in the Peter Sellers action film "Revenge of the Pink Panther" (1978). Orchard more recently acted in the Jeffrey Byron comedy "The Omega Connection" (1979).
