Kim Chan was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Chan's earliest roles were in film, including the Barbra Streisand comedy "The Owl and the Pussycat" (1970), the Saul Rubinek comedy "Soup For One" (1982) and "The King of Comedy" (1983). He also appeared in "Over the Brooklyn Bridge" (1984) with Elliott Gould, "Moscow on the Hudson" (1984) with Robin Williams and the Richard Gere crime feature "The Cotton Club" (1984). He continued to act in productions like the comedy "Cookie" (1989) with Peter Falk, "Second Sight" (1989) and the comedy adventure "Cadillac Man" (1990) with Robin Williams. He also appeared in "Alice" (1990) with Joe Mantegna. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Bruce Willis action flick "The Fifth Element" (1997), the dramatic adaptation "The Devil's Advocate" (1997) with Keanu Reeves and the Mel Gibson box office smash action film "Lethal Weapon 4" (1998). Chan most recently acted in "Zen Noir" (2006).
