Mike MacDonald
Mike MacDonald appeared in a number of comedic films, always bringing a spark of joy and laughter to whatever role he takes on. Early on, MacDonald mostly landed roles in various films, including the dramatic comedy "The Funny Farm" (1982) with Miles Chapin, "Odd Balls" (1983) and the comedy "Screwballs II - Loose Screws" (1985) with Bryan Genesse. He also appeared in "Recruits" (1986) and "Mr. Nice Guy" (1987). He had a part on the television special "Just For Laughs II" (Showtime, 1987-88). He continued to act in productions like "Three Fugitives" (1989) with Nick Nolte. He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Sherman Hemsley's Comedy Jackpot" (Showtime, 1989-1990) and "Mike MacDonald: On Target" (Showtime, 1990-91). He also lent his voice to the animated movie "The Nutcracker Prince" (1990) with Peter O'Toole. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The A-List" (Comedy Central, 1991-94). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Mike MacDonald: Happy As I Can Be" (Showtime, 1993-94) and "Growing Up Funny" (Lifetime, 1993-94). MacDonald most recently voiced characters in "The Ripping Friends" (Fox, 2001-02).
