See more 02/12/2011 cute fam-friendly flick about a boy's childhood and his wild imagination. See more 04/03/2009 "Once In A Blue Moon" is the epitome of childhood imagination and adventure! Yet the themes of growing up and discovering ones' self in a time of change for Canada, within a unique and sometimes strained family dynamic, are folded in amoungst the storyline to create a touching and thoughtful film beyond the simple fun of this imaginative story. Wonderfully shot with warm colors and creative camera work and editing; and fantastically cast with beautiful individuals who make each of the characters so special! Great.
