Jeffrey M. Anderson Combustible Celluloid This teen movie is absolutely terrible in many ways, but it's also an interesting experiment. Sep 3, 2010 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com Nowadays you can see bare knockers by pushing three random buttons on your keyboard, and you don't have to sit through 78 minutes of pitiful comedy to get to 'em. euler n It looks more like an A-movie than Screwballs 1 (has a better image quality). But the story is worse. Boring and useless. It doesn't look like real life, I mean, which school has only top-model looking girls? Do you want to see T&A? Better try any specialized website. This movie is just about a bygone age, where people watched teen movies just to see naked girls in a funny way. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the worst attempt I have ever seen of a gay actor trying to play a straight man. Bryan Genesse, you're looking about as straight as a Crazy Straw in this movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Best tit and bum of the 80s. Massively sexist with stereotyping around every corner. The type of movie you'd have feminists rioting against these days. Just the names crack me up - miss von blow, principal arsenal, Hung Lo and his long lost brother Well Hung Lo, Steve Hardman, and who could forget Miss Mona Lot, the seductive French teacher. We had this movie on tape (with the stupid beach dance scene edited out) growing up. My twin brother and our mates watched it hundreds of times over the years. Get home pissed - put on ‘loose screws'! Bored? ‘Loose screws!. I still know +70% of the script despite not watching it full length for a few years. So many great corny lines. And the song where Marvin goes to the gym should be remixed into house. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review scott m Low budget comedy about high school cut-ups who are desperate to get laid. I like this movie more than 'Screwballs' myself. I thought it had a better story and the director seemed more confident. Maybe they just had more money. Anyway, its a good sex-romp comedy from the 1980's. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Silly 80s teen exploitation fun. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Of all the crude and sexist teen "comedies" that came out in the 1980's, this is probably the crudest and sexist-est. And unfunniest! Larry David observed, "There are two kinds of people who wear sunglasses indoors: blind people and assholes," which perfectly describes this foursome of shade-stylists who attend a co-ed summer boarding school. No exaggeration that half the script is lame innuendo, and on top of everything else they feature a string of horrible songs to test your endurance. And don't forget the insulting Chinese impersonation! Must keep in mind that nobody forced the participating female cast into getting leered at, presumably they all got paid but that doesn't make the audience's sullied feeling go away. Makes <i>Porky's</i> seem like Oscar Wilde by comparison. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
