Mitchell Lichtenstein
Mitchell Lichtenstein's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Lichtenstein's acting career began mostly with his roles in various films, such as the dramatic adaptation "Streamers" (1983) with Matthew Modine, "The Lords of Discipline" (1983) with David Keith and the comedy "Crackers" (1984) with Donald Sutherland. He also appeared in the TV movie "Blue Bayou" (NBC, 1989-1990). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Cheers" (NBC, 1982-1993). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in the Chet Baker documentary "Let's Get Lost" (1989) and "The Wedding Banquet" (1993) with Winston Chao. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Bottoms Up" (1996), the Tom Gilroy drama "Ratchet" (1997) and the Robert De Niro crime drama "Flawless" (1999). Lichtenstein most recently directed the dramatic comedy "Happy Tears" (2010) with Parker Posey.
