Nat Faxon

A Groundlings alum and expert improv comedian, Nat Faxon became a comedy fixture with supporting roles in such films as "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" (2007), "Bad Teacher" (2011) and "Zookeeper" (2011), as well as a mainstay in such Broken Lizard offerings as "Club Dread" (2004), "Beerfest" (2006), "The Slammin' Salmon" (2009), "Freeloaders" (2011) and "The Babymakers" (2012). He delighted in comic turns on such television shows as "Grosse Pointe" (The WB, 2000-01), "Reno 911!" (Comedy Central, 2003-09) and "The Cleveland Show" (Fox, 2009-13), but finally broke out as the winsome man-child Ben who both frustrates and delights his sister Kate (Dakota Johnson) on the sitcom "Ben and Kate" (Fox, 2012-13). As exceptional a writer as he was an actor, Faxon and his writing partner Jim Rash won an Oscar for their script with Alexander Payne for the George Clooney vehicle "The Descendants" (2011), as well as a string of additional plaudits. A multi-hyphenate talent, Nat Faxon earned his lengthy career both in front of and behind the camera on the strength of his many artistic gifts.
