Nat Carr
Nat Carr was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Carr landed roles in various films, including "His People" (1925), "The Cohens and Kellys" (1926) and "The Jazz Singer" (1927). He also appeared in "Rainbow Over Broadway" (1933). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the thirties, appearing in "Big Time or Bust" (1934), the drama "Next Time We Love" (1936) with Margaret Sullavan and "Portia on Trial" (1937). He also appeared in the musical "Comet Over Broadway" (1938) with Kay Francis. In the latter part of his career, he continued to act in "Torchy Gets Her Man" (1938), the Margaret Lindsay adaptation "On Trial" (1939) and "Granny Get Your Gun" (1940). Carr last acted in the John Payne romance "King of the Lumberjacks" (1940). Carr passed away in July 1944 at the age of 58.
