Roberto Alagna was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Alagna began his career with roles in "Placido Domingo -- The Covent Garden Gold and Silver Gala" (1996-97), "The Elixir of Love" (PBS, 1997-98) and "Tibor Rudas Presents Pavarotti For the Future -- The Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition" (PBS, 1997-98). Later, he acted in "The Richard Tucker Opera Gala Hosted By Placido Domingo" (1999-2000), "Romeo and Juliet" (PBS, 2001-02) and "Tosca" (2002). He also appeared in "The Metropolitan Opera: Don Carlo" (2010). Alagna's music was most recently featured in the Abbie Cornish biopic drama "W.E." (2011).
