William Edmunds
William Edmunds was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Edmunds kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the comedic adaptation "Idiot's Delight" (1939) with Norma Shearer, the dramatic biopic "Juarez" (1939) with Paul Muni and "He Married His Wife" (1940). He also appeared in the drama "The Mortal Storm" (1940) with Margaret Sullavan, "Girls Under 21" (1940) and the Arthur Kennedy sports drama "Knockout" (1941). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Elisabeth Bergner drama "Paris Calling" (1942), the comedy "The Wife Takes a Flyer" (1942) with Joan Bennett and the Monty Woolley comedic drama "The Pied Piper" (1942). He also appeared in "The Big Shot" (1942). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "A Bell For Adano" (1945) with John Hodiak, the Merle Oberon romance "This Love of Ours" (1945) and the romance "Anna and the King of Siam" (1946) with Irene Dunne. He also appeared in "Swamp Fire" (1946) with Johnny Weissmuller and "Nobody Lives Forever" (1946) with John Garfield. Edmunds more recently acted in "The Caddy" (1953). Edmunds passed away in December 1981 at the age of 96.
