Mas a decisão se mostrou extremamente acertada. O contraste físico e de personalidade entre Arnold e Danny DeVito cria uma das duplas mais improváveis — e divertidas — do cinema. 📖 Enredo A história começa com um experimento científico curioso: um grupo de pesquisadores tenta criar o ser humano perfeito através de manipulação genética. O resultado deveria ser um indivíduo com as melhores características possíveis. Mas algo dá errado. Em vez de um único bebê perfeito, nascem dois irmãos gêmeos completamente diferentes. De um lado está Julius, criado em um ambiente acadêmico, educado, disciplinado e fisicamente impressionante. Schwarzenegger and DeVito are hilarious in some parts, and the plot is amusing despite its absurdity. It’s good 80s comedy and a fun pastime. Sure, it's air headed 80s nonsense but it lets you know that right at the start and if you keep watching it's your look out. De Vito and Schwarzenegger are charming (although De Vito's character is far from perfect) and riff off each other well. A one trick pony perhaps, but the trick is good. See more Blu B @RT43513976 Jan 27 It's got that charm, easy watching family feel that all Reitman flicks seem to have. It's extremely light hearted, actually funny every now and thand and get a laugh, and honestly it's good at certain points which is a miracle given just how insane/crazy/farfetched the plot is. The 80's music is good and catchy a bit. DeVito is great in this and probably the best thing acting wise. Everything else is honestly half decent. The problems are numerous though. The plot is just again ridiculous, over the top, and really not clever at all. I think there is a message maybe underneath this about family being more than just genes but it gets lost terribly in the overly complex plot and cheese. The whole jet engine/assassin plotline feels underdeveloped and a distraction. The comedy itself is very much hit or miss. 65% miss 35% a laugh. But honestly what carries this throughout is the best moments is when Devito & Arnold are just...doing stuff together and bonding.
