Steve D 07/05/2020 A dull version of the story that really drags. See more 03/28/2015 The pacing, feel, and sound track make the movie feel a couple decades older than it actually is. See more 09/21/2012 Underrated & forgotten, probably because it's not loyal to the book. It has a very large plot twist in it that makes me love it so much. It also doesn't help that there are gawd knows how many movies called "Treasure Island" or have "Treasure Island" in the title, & that this particular version is known as "Treasure island 1998," "Treasure Island 1999" AND "Treasure Island 2001."
