Audience Member 'Are you on cloud 9?' that's' exactly what we'd be asking knowing how funny of a premise this is Burt Reynolds gathers a bunch of strippers to become volleyball players it's ludicrous yes but a dream is given to these girls and feeling more than just objects for guys to poke and laugh at I actually enjoyed the movie's attempt to show the other side of things, that these girls want to make money other than what they're used to and to work hard the soundtrack was very appealing as well fitting every scene involving the volleyball matches and getting into the spirit of the game it's smarter, brighter, funnier, and quite sexy but it has purpose to go with it all Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Silly, pointless, and an indication of the depths to which Burt Reynolds' career has sunk. Avoid. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member strippers playing beach vollyball with burt reynolds as the couch . makes this direct to dvd movie better then the average crud relased by this company .. could use more boobie shots though Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Burt Reynolds charisma and a bunch of fun cameos make this predictable low budget movie a decent watch. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn't expect much and I didn't get much, it's a mediocre Burt Reynolds comedy with a couple of other noteworthy names thrown in for good measure. Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times Mr. Dresen and his actors create an atmosphere of reckless vulnerability that(TM)s immediately compelling and artistically intriguing. We want to explore this relationship further. Rated: 3/4 Apr 3, 2009 Full Review Rick Groen Globe and Mail A heart-rending portrayal of love's labours lost and won. Rated: 3/4 Apr 2, 2009 Full Review Liz Braun Jam! Movies As always, Dresen has turned his camera on ordinary people leading ordinary lives, but as the tiny details build into a complete, three-dimensional portrait, one is, finally, loath to leave their company. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 3, 2009 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com A volleyball "comedy" that has just as many laughs as a gall bladder operation. Rated: 1/5 Jan 10, 2006 Full Review Chuck O'Leary Fantastica Daily A lame, formula sports comedy so tame and lazily executed that it doesn't even succeed on an exploitation level. Burt Reynolds deserves better, much better. Rated: 1.5/4 Jan 3, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews
