Audience Member In answer to the question, "How To Be?" my suggestion would be "less boring and trite". Undoubtedly, this film proves what may have been lost in all the "Twilight" glitz: Pattinson can't act his way out of a paper bag. It's astonishing how his lack of talent is distinguishable even among the troupe of hack actors surrounding him in this movie. From bad lighting, to amateurish sound, to abysmal hair and makeup, there is almost no bottom to this fail-bag of a film. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved this movie. The acting was very good, and the movie as a whole was fantastic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member What can I say? It's british, it sucks. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Started out hilarious but as the film developed the comedy turned more to the tragic and often annoying side as I wanted to slap Pattinson's Art for being such a pathetic character and having such cardboard cut out parents. There was enough to enjoy in this film but it is not one that I would highly recommend. Good to see Pattinson in something with his native accent, he can act - despite what is on display in Twilight. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Felt so sorry for Art. Rob was great. His character was sad, a little pathetic, & desperate for love & acceptance. Very entertaining. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Ever had low-grade, persistent angst? To the point you're irritable and unhappy? Pattinson delivers a comedic look into quarter-age crisis and the wanting to have purpose and meaning without knowing how to find it. Yet, predictably having the answer. Rated: 1/4 Nov 18, 2009 Full Review Prairie Miller NewsBlaze A kind of problem child with whiskers bitten by love in this delayed coming of age family dyfunction outing, Pattinson impresses with his broad range, while doing daffy and despair at the same time. Nov 13, 2009 Full Review Geoff Berkshire Metromix.com Fans who love 'RPattz' even more than Edward Cullen should be satisfied. They'll be the only ones. Rated: 2/5 Apr 29, 2009 Full Review Steve Rhodes Internet Reviews Filled with British humor so dry that it's down-right parched.
