I am talking about Twelve Angry Lebanese- the play. Couldn't find a site that did it (did not look very hard either sorry.)
Is it true? The play's author Reginal Rose wikipedia informs me sat on a jury.
Description: a jury weigh up a case, and convince each other.
Reaction: a) I didn't understand the language- but I don't care. b) I got some maltesers, and it felt like a night at the theatre. c) (I had it before. With Kore-Eda's Aruitemo aruitemo. Not understanding the language, I presumed everyone was much nicer ! than I found out they were watched with subtitles.) For a long time, since 2013, I had wanted to test the waters of The Guardian's top ten 'arab' films. It was fine. Thanks for having me.

This is truly an "ethnography of empowerment" or call it "theater of the oppressed," if you will. Well done Zeina Daccache!!
