Jodi Walker The Ringer I say this as a pop culture writer: the business sense in this movie is harrowing. Dec 23, 2022 Full Review Brett White Decider Sweetin sets the tone for A Cozy Christmas Inn: it’s a Hallmark movie that knows it’s sweet and silly, but also has a surprising amount of smarts to it, too. Kelli K Not a fan of this after the DJ version, I know all hallmarks are essentially the same, this just felt like there was no writing creativity. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/06/23 Full Review Kelli D No need for this movie at all. Ruined a classic Hallmark movie Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/01/23 Full Review renee m You can't review Hallmark holiday movies the same way you'd review Star Wars or The Godfather. This movie is cute, and does exactly what it's supposed to: spreads a little holiday charm. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/12/23 Full Review Hilife Health Care r A excellent story that was ruined by the writers and producers. This story was brought down to a 3rd. grade play with stupid scenes wrecking an interesting story. I can not critique star Jodie Sweetin who did the best she could with this horrible script. My advise, skip this one it is not worth your time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/28/23 Full Review kathy j How to be fair? I love Jody Sweetin, and I also love Candice Cameron Bure—both from "Full House" and "Fuller House," both of which I've watched end-to-end a number of times. Wonderful. But one of my top three Hallmark Christmas movies of the past 25 years is "Christmas Under Wraps" where Lauren (Candice Cameron Bure) falls in love with Andy in Garland, Alaska. Now "A Cozy Christmas Inn" decimates their beautiful love story, makes it ugly and irrelevant, and replaces it with a new love affair with Erika (Jody Sweetin) and Andy. I was disappointed and shocked; my favorite was thrown into the slushy snowy mud and trampled underfoot. I hate that. The irony was that, in terms of "Full/Fuller House," Stephanie is supplanting her older sister DJ with the same guy, and that just feels wrong. Aside from that, why mar one of your best holiday movies ("Christmas Under Wraps") by smashing the magic of the Lauren/Andy relationship by having her selling out and giving him up for a big medical fellowship? That cheapens the earlier movie and renders it null and void. Even more, there appeared to be zero chemistry in the Erika/Andy relationship. All in all, I was shocked and upset about this new movie and could hardly believe that you'd actually done such a thing. Are you so short on new stories that you had to recycle a beautiful old one by rendering it a failure? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
