Erik B Might as well be a Hallmark movie. Would not watch again. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/29/24 Full Review juliana C Don’t listen to the other reviews. This was a fun movie. Not every movie has to have unrealistic stories. Marital issues are real and the message was clear. Put everything aside and celebrate Christmas with your family! Danny Devito, the adorable little girl and a very cute puppy! You cannot go wrong! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/28/24 Full Review Ryan W The best part about this movie was Dany. I enjoyed his time on camera, particularly with the grand daughter character. The start made the movie promising and seemed to be setup well, but execution was terrible. All the subplots were an unintesting, confusing mess. I REALLY wanted to like this movie but It seems to have been re-written several times during shooting. otherwise I have no idea how this was greenlit. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/28/24 Full Review Melitta M I don’t even know where to start… This was the most horrible movie I have ever seen, and the saddest part is that I actually paid for the tickets. The editing is awful, and the plot is downright hideous. The movie makes no sense at all. There are countless scenes that do absolutely nothing to move the story forward—they’re just there. They introduce a lot of characters who barely show up and serve no real purpose in the story. The title suggested it was supposed to be centered around Christmas, but honestly, it has nothing to do with the holiday—or anything else for that matter. The film lacks a coherent plot entirely. If I were Danny DeVito, I’d sue them for dragging my name into such a disastrous project. The only reason I’m giving it half a star is because that’s the lowest rating possible and maybe for the few nice shots of nature. Please, save yourself the disappointment and just watch a Hallmark movie at home—they have way more quality than this piece of… well, you get the idea. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/27/24 Full Review Jay S This is not your typical American movie. It has a twist and it has a very good message about family. Not a bunch of people running behind what present to get next. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/24/24 Full Review Grant C A movie about a self entitled girl who demands Christmas in the summer. Forces her grandparents to fly to Italy to attend the fake Christmas. All so she can feel better about her parents divorce and she knew about before arriving in Italy. Then she asks her grandfather to pay for a bunch of stuff while he is close to bankruptcy. And all the parents and grandparents are cheating on each other like it is normal. Perfect example of a Gen Z kid. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/23/24 Full Review Read all reviews
