Perhaps the best set of the night... came from Jaye McBride, a trans woman with no kids of her own who simply delivered a strong eight-minute batch of jokes about transitioning. Go to Full Review

Jeffrey P 11/02/2022 Couldn't get past Amy's opening act. See more 07/20/2022 Girlfriend made me watch this with her and it was beyond painful. The comedians of old broke so much ground just to have it squandered by this new generation of hacks. See more 06/15/2022 Some comedians were better than others which is to be expected for comedy show with multiple acts. Amy delivered her usual acerbic takes on life and didn't disappoint. Some of the comedians just repeated acts from their solo Netflix shows, and we aren't paying for the show, but we also don't want to waste time if we've already their seen their acts. You'd think they would have taken the energy to come up with something new. One of the funniest parts of this show was seeing the judgy LA audience being upset at some of the harmless jokes, such as the bit about the holier than thou barista. Those jokes would have gotten the response they deserved in NY or NJ. You could almost feel the audience looking at each other to see if it was okay to laugh or if they should whip out their phones and cancel the comedian. See more 06/15/2022 Big Amy Schumer fan and of standup in general, including up-and-comers who’ve yet to make a name for themselves, but all fell short in this special—including Queen Schumer. One of the comedians talked about his daughter’s period and bra shopping, which went past falling flat right into awkward territory, especially when he tried to tell the audience that the bra cup size was actually indicate of back size. One of those, “did he run this sketch by anyone before performing?!” moments. There were some funny moments throughout for sure, but I would say each comedian fell noticeably short of the mark. See more Ayub J 06/12/2022 Terrible. Should never be classified as comedy. See more 06/11/2022 To be honest…it was mostly sad, arrogant, self-deprecating, awkward, bigoted (in parts) and had an audience who seemed to laugh just to be nice. I normally love dark humor, but this was more along the lines of ‘depressing guffaws'. These comics have a long way to go. I was disappointed in Amy's performance as well, which was surprising. However, I do feel that Jaye McBride has some potential and am looking forward to her career blooming. But overall, not worth the watch. Sorry Amy. See more Read all reviews
