Inventive fun and energetic action are what count in this sort of film, and there is little of either in [Back to the Future Part III]. Go to Full Review

Noah H @Noah85 Jan 7 By far the worst and weakest of the Back to the Future trilogy. There's still some stuff to enjoy like the time traveling train but other than that there's a lot that brings it down. Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd do their best but their performances are brought down by embarrassing and really childish comedy like butt humor, spice humor, and pee humor. If you watch the movie you'll know what I mean. The other problem is that there's too many subplots. There's the one where Doc falls in love with Clara (Mary Steenburgen), the main plot about Doc and Marty attempting to travel back to 1985, and the plot about Marty needing to duel Buford Tannen. After all these subplots are thrown at you, you start to ask yourself, "Why am I not just watching the first or second movie? The stories in those two were so much simpler". Now, to be fair, this is how I felt. ( You might enjoy it, I don't know). See more Michael A @Tomato547 Dec 31 Awesome movie! I have to say I and II are slightly better than this one. But who's to say it's bad? IT'S AMAZING! See more noah f @City523 Dec 26 I watched Back to the Future first, and then I was thinking of watching the other two. When I watched them I was expecting part 2 to be better than part 3, but surprisingly, part 3 is SIGNIFICANTLY better than part 2. In my opinion, part 3 is just as good as part 1. See more Dean S Dec 22 A satisfying end to the best time travelling adventure cinema has ever seen. A timeless trilogy that’s fun for all the family and every generation! 10/10 See more Jim P Dec 15 A third sequel?! You can't beat the first one, I said. But you know what? This one is also fun! See more Yaaron R @KompetenterMedi Dec 12 A better finale, still held back by old flaws Back to the Future Part III is particularly impressive thanks to its powerful final train sequence, which is visually stunning and creates suspense. However, apart from this scene, the familiar problems remain. Biff continues to be a mere plot device without any real motivation, the dialogue remains flat, and many of the characters' decisions are based less on their personalities than on the demands of the plot. The running gags of the series seem increasingly worn out and tend to slow things down rather than add charm. Despite solid acting and a creative basic idea, the film falls short of its potential. The successful action moments lift the overall picture somewhat, without really compensating for the fundamental weaknesses. See more Read all reviews
