Band Aid [hits] so many right notes any false ones it might inadvertently strike are lost in a symphony of reflective magnificence I could listen to for days on end with no hesitation whatsoever. Go to Full Review

Full of sarcastic humor, earnest emotion and a phenomenal performance from writer/director/producer/star Zoe Lister-Jones, it hinges on the central relationship. But even with deep-rooted problems, this is a couple worth rooting for. Go to Full Review

Keith B B @Okbullard Dec 6 It was very good and I laughed quite a few times. There was a lot of drama as well. I really liked the songs. Though he had a small part, Fred Armisen who I thought was pretty weak on SNL did a good job here. It's worth your time. See more C B Feb 9 "Why did you take muscle relaxants? You have hardly any muscles!" Zoe Lister-Jones. What an excellent actress! After watching "How It Ends", I thought that she was just a comedienne but, in this comedy-drama, her full range is on display. The relationship she has with Adam Pally is realistic and believable. They play a couple who, temporarily, stop squabbling because of a shared creative outlet they discover. I have the feeling that Lister-Jones and Fred Armisen must be neighbors in real life - his character lives nearby both here and in How It Ends. See more bonnie m @BonnieMio 10/22/2022 I liked this movie, even though the first fight -- the first few minutes of the film - wasn't believable to me. The actors looked bemused rather than angry. But then it picked up, and I enjoyed their chemistry, the humor, and the music. The neighbor was quirky but sweet, and I liked his relationship with the couple. In the first couple of bed scenes, Lister wears a bra, which is never believable to me. I mean, who goes to bed in their bra? A nightgown or pajamas, yes, but a bra, no. Then later, she's topless, and it seemed somewhat gratuitous. Overall, it showed a real relationship, and the creative way the couple dealt with grief touched me. I was impressed that Lister wrote, acted, and directed the movie. The songs are catchy! See more 10/07/2020 Very funny. I really like sarcastic jokes. The methaphor. Their chemistry. Relatable. I liked everything. I enjoyed it so much and It's simple and yet effective. See more 09/20/2020 Zoe Lister Jones ...great job! This movie was fun to watch it was funny. At times it made me feel awkward it had all the feelings to go with the great movie that was able to reach out from the screen and touch each individual person in a different way. I also read where she had a female crew working on the movie which I think is kind of great.well part of the movie speaks about narrowing the gender gap. She writes and performs a great piece ....songs as well. All while trying to narrow the gender gap. As we go forth See more jimmy j 05/03/2019 Band Aid is a quirky love story that keeps you engaged by its strong performances and entertaining look into what could be 'real" couple struggles. Humorous and darling humanizing I was shocked to learn that Zoe Lister-Jones was the mastermind behind the entire project. Polarizing. Band Aid is a must see anyone who enjoys eccentric tales of love. See more Read all reviews
