Steve D Ok on its own but they played too much with the story. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Bland, unoriginal and useless. This is one remake that didn't need to exist, even with the Terminator behind the wheel. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member To date one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's few directorial efforts. After watching it, it's easy to see why. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Not as much fun as the original nor spirited with a yuletide cheer when the remake complicated the concept while trying to duplicate the moments it was able to do. What's good about this is the appealing chemistry between Cannon and Kristofferson - the only source of good performances - and the comedy taking place in the unwrapping moment of the climax that came with a meaning it'd tried to attempt. A so-so remake that shows the roughly-affected transition between classical and contemporary. (B-) (Full review coming soon) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Dear Arnold Schwarzenegger, Director of CHRISTMAS IN CONNECTICUT I'm back. Yup, our Early Arnold series is over, but how could I resist this important oversight in your oeuvre? Christmas in Connecticut (1992) is not some embarrassing got-to-get-paid mistake from your pre-Conan the Barbarian days. You're the muscle behind this made-for-TV mess that came out at the peak of your prime. The question is why? WHY? I'm guessing the answer begins and ends with your unparalleled ambition. That's why imagining you're stilted direction behind every scene gave me a perverse pleasure, like watching the Christmas equivalent of Tommy Wiseau's The Room...
