Kim P @RT98672688 Jan 1 Whether it's Oliver Hardy, John Goodman or (in this case), Nick Frost, there's something about a big man dancing gracefully that brings a smile to my face. Even allowing for scenes obviously using stunt double dancers, the scenes that Frost obviously dance in are joyful and the movie is funny. The negative reviews about it being bad for women are fatphobic, in my opinion. Many women appreciate a guy that dances well, even if they don't want to marry the guy. A fun watch. My teenage kids also enjoyed it which can be tricky to find a film we all like to watch. Best part was the still Fanta joke - so unexpected, random, and then the film just got even funnier from that moment on! Would recommend. See more 02/01/2022 i just rewatched it after a few years and i mean, it's not the greatest coming-of-age movie, but it is sorta entertaining; the struggles between mother and daughter are very real that even i have gone through most of that stuff. it was nice seeing miley play a different role from the other ones she had done before.
