George M. Thomas Akron Beacon Journal Koroma takes the audience on a journey from myth to reality in the massacre, the stuff of mere myth as recently as 25 years ago in the state where it happened, to modern-day reckoning. Jun 3, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Frances H I watched this documentary on the same night I watched Tulsa: The Fire and the Forgotten. Both were excellent and each in its own way presented the story of the massacre of Black Americans a century ago at the hands of a violent racist white mob of the privileged of the south--citty government and the police, who got away without any punishment for mass murder, placing the blame on the victims and denying that this h9orrendous act ever happened! Makes one ashamed to be white! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/07/21 Full Review Read all reviews
