Synopsis
The world is viewed through a looking glass in this documentary investigating the massive surveillance networks the world's superpowers have been making good use of since the United States and Britain cracked the infamous German "Enigma" code during World War II. As technological surveillance becomes widespread during the Cold War, privacy becomes a relic of the past. Governments, corporations and militaries eavesdrop on the citizens of the world -- but for what sinister purpose?
