Peter D As much as I like the movie, I also like to be a bit of a critic and point out what I think is a minor fault in it. At the beginning of the trial, the man who was made foreman of the jury said we get our lunches free with a murder. If that was the case, why did Peter Tanner give money to the waitress and tell her she can keep the change? Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/10/24 Full Review Martin B A solid movie. However you must be prepared to be patient like many Britich movies as it plods along slowly. Building toward the inevitable conclusion that turns out not to be inevitable at all. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/08/24 Full Review Audience Member Near solid courtroom drama - there's plenty of the latter, with just a couple of plot holes in the former. The film manages to get across the strict practices of law as well as some of the gossip of those outside the process to suggest the protagonist is guilty as charged throughout the film before any verdict is even given.
