Billie T I saw this in the '72. It was enjoyable then and is still a fun movie, based on a series of books about "the 87th precinct ". It also provides an accurate glance at the clothes, cars and culture of that time period. Raquel is gorgeous, and Burt is always fun, while easy in the eyes. Many stars are cast in this movie, including the legend, Yul Brenner. It starts a bit slow but has many hilarious scenes and is worth your time. It is far better than most of what Hollywood calls entertainment, these days. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/19/24 Full Review David W Very 1970's. It's made just about watchable by a great cast and an enjoyable directorial style. Sadly the cast and the directors talents are largely wasted on an dull and strangly unfunny script. An action comedy which is largely bereft of both action and comedy. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/27/23 Full Review Steve D Unfocused mess of a film that has aged like old milk. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/18/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Terrible story, dialogue, directing, everything. Wast of film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member I've always loved this move. A different style of filming, a real life feel to it. Funny moments too. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A terrific assortment of players brings this unusual police story to life--Enjoyably shaggy cop movie!! Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times It's an offbeat, funny, quietly cheerful movie in which Ed McBain's 87th Precinct is finally brought to life. Rated: 3/4 Oct 23, 2004 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …well worth seeking out for lovers of scuzzy 70’s cinema… Rated: 3/5 Jun 21, 2022 Full Review Dick Lochte Los Angeles Free Press Fuzz may not be up to the standards of M.A.S.H. or The Hospital, and it may take its time gathering momentum after each foray into realism, but it does have its moments of high hilarity and for that we should be properly appreciative.
