Kimberley S Love the movie, heard about it while looking for what else is Pia Miranda is in. After watching Looking for Alabrandi for the millionth time. Found it and watched it. Their "Pokie Machines" are killing live music sentiment was ahead of their time, and they were right. It is a very quirky and carefree film about young people in a band. And surprising twist that messes with your brain with the journey and conclusion of the love triangle. It does go a bit long for what it is. However it is a very fun movie to watch just to chill in your underwear. The characters had more drive, fun and grunge than most things in the movies these days. Would recommend. The only reason I'm giving this 3.5 instead of 4 is because I know I personally got extra enjoyment from the film because I am local to the area they are mostly filmed in, I did not know that was going to be the case going in. So I had that extra OMG THAT'S MY MEDICAL PRACTICE, OMG THAT'S MY LOCAL, OMG THATS THE BUILDING I.... So extra-ly highly recommended to those who live in Inner West Sydney. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review chris f In a time of expanding interest in indie film, Garage Days is an extremely quirky inclusion into the sphere of influence. The plot itself is a bit messy and silly, and the presentation is talented but also a bit grungy. But that's also part of the appeal. You're coming into a music dramedy of ragtag underdogs. It's meant to be grungy, messy, and quirky, and executes fantastically.
