"Get a Clue..." displays style to spare bursting out of the starting gate only to stumble at the finish line, tripped up by the wild tangle of awkwardly knotted loose ends. Go to Full Review

New York City high jinks! inter-school-newspaper romance!—but Lohan's iconic fits are so singular within the genre that every other DCOM simply pales in couture comparison. Go to Full Review

N P 11/07/2024 The crime investigation plot is bleak and confusing. I was unfortunately not interested in the characters' missing person profile at all or the leads' / discoveries that were brought to light since they didn't feel compelling or earned. Most of the prospective suspects barely had any motivation and were lazily wrapped up in a 30-second narration in the end. The early 2000s fodder with the fashion, tech and spy gear used is entertaining enough, and the young actors try to make do with a lousy and uninspired script. Get a Clue is simply a movie you turn on in the background while you're doing something else. Inoffensive and just there. See more Rosana B 11/26/2022 Adorei o visual das meninas, os anos 2000 eram tão over, adoro… Lindsay Lohan tão lindinha, uma peninha tudo que essa guria passou na juventude, família problemática, drogas, excessos e ausências, rede de apoio é fundamental… Brenda Song e Bug Hall fofinhos... Filminho de suspense policial infanto juvenil fofinho, adolescente bancando detetive, eu gosto, passatempo gostosim, sem grandes pretensões, apenas distrações... See more 06/13/2021 while Lindsay Lohan is able portray her character with ambition, heart and determination it is outweighed by underwhelming dialogue, character interactions and overall plot. the movie is a solid entry but the essence of the movie does not linger after the credits start rolling. See more 07/11/2020 Decent watch, probably won't watch again, but can recommend, particularly for younger audiences. It's definitely inspired by Nancy Drew (they drop the name somewhere as a joke), but isn't one itself. It's a good coming of age / identity story about investigating a mystery: it's somewhat funny, but the premise is that it's stuck up little rich kids (mostly) that have to get a taste of the real world. Sadly, kids and adults, Lindsey Lohan pretty much carries the movie. She does a good job but other actors really had a chance to stand out in this and just didn't. It's not a bad movie, but really, there are other mystery movies, and I'd recommend "Nancy Drew" (Emma Roberts) or "Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase" (Sophia Lillis) over this.
