Lanal L Like most Hallmark made-for-television movies, the actors are Hollywood names and the script is just adequate. But, most objectionably, the pacing is so slow. There's no real snap to the action or the dialogue. The general feeling is flat and lifeless. I didn't feel any kind of connection or emotional bond with the hospice patient, played by Gena Rowlands or with Diane Lane's character of the hospice worker. There's hardly any appearance of Lane's husband except for the opening shots. There was a funny moment when the Gina Rowlands character asks Diane Lane whether she eats chicken, and Lane replies: "Not the ones I've looked in the eye."
