Claudio C Hostage Hotel (1999) Forgettable TV Movie (11,908 – 11 Sep 2025 – by Claudio Carvalho) In an old hotel that will be renovated, Congressman Robert Sinclair (David Rasche) and the mayor (Tony Plana) promote a reception to launch Sinclair as Governor. However, the disturbed and neurotic Vietnan’s vet Cpl. Arlin Flynn (Keith Carradine) kidnaps his wife, his teenage daughter and his assistant. Flynn asks the retired Det. Charlie Duffy (Charles Durning) to be the negotiator but also kidnaps him. His former partner and friend Det. Logan McQueen (Burt Reynolds) sneaks inside the building that is under siege to rescue Duffy. But Flynn prepared several boob traps in the building. “Hostage Hotel” is a forgettable TV movie with a great cast of veteran actors. The plot is entertaining despite the clichés and recommended for dans of Burt Reynolds. The story has no surprises or twists, and the conclusion is expected. My vote is five.
