Harish N "Idli Kadai" (2025) is a good and emotionally significant film, primarily elevated by a truly stunning performance from Dhanush. He is completely captivating in his role, lending immense sincerity and depth to what is, at its heart, a good emotional, mandatory story. The film makes a powerful impact early on, with a first half that is nothing short of stunning. The narrative foundation is laid brilliantly, immediately pulling the viewer into the emotional world of the characters. Dhanush’s acting prowess is the central strength here, making every heartfelt beat resonate strongly. However, the movie struggles significantly with maintaining its momentum. The energy and impact of the first half give way to an average second half. This drop in quality creates an uneven experience, as the pacing becomes inconsistent and the overall narrative tension slackens. While the film has an important emotional core, the execution in the latter part doesn't sustain the brilliance of its opening. Overall, "Idli Kadai" is a cinematic experience that is worthwhile and good, particularly for its stunning emotional high points and Dhanush’s exceptional performance.
