william k Thoughtful, interesting coming-of-age story follows the traits of its Native American hero trying to find his way through a tough and not so friendly world; adequate performances and some good (underwater) cinematography make this film quite watchable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent story about a young Seminole who must catch a very large alligator to earn a job as a deck hand from a white boat owner. He completes the task but finds trouble with the other deck hand. Gator the dog proves to be a very loyal companion. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Fine G-rated film with Seminole wrestling alligators and attempting to assimilate in white-man's world. Hardcastle and McCormick's Brian Keith is good as the man who takes Panther under his wing. Gator could well be the best dog ever.
