What to Know

Critics Consensus

A legal thriller with a heavy conscience, Juror #2 is less a summation of Clint Eastwood's storied directorial career than another terrific reminder of his knack for plain-spoken drama.

Christy Lemire FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) A great example of Eastwood's efficiency as a filmmaker: lean, taut storytelling that doesn't waste a moment. Nov 13, 2024 Full Review Kat Sachs Chicago Reader In keeping with his late-era films, Eastwood isn’t playing devil’s advocate, but rather a modern-day philosopher, daring to challenge where many look for affirmation. If this is indeed Clint’s last hurrah, it’d be as good as any to end on. Nov 11, 2024 Full Review Justin Chang NPR It’s a thorny, thoughtful film, and I wish its own studio had more confidence in it. Nov 9, 2024 Full Review Alexander Mooney Exclaim! An absolute knockout from one of our oldest and most prolific chroniclers of American folly. Rated: 8/10 Nov 21, 2024 Full Review Tony Medley tonymedley.com Director Clint Eastwood rarely disappoints, and this is another good one. The pace and acting are terrific, and the story is believable. If this is Clint's swan song, he goes out on top. Rated: 8/10 Nov 20, 2024 Full Review Christian Toto HollywoodInToto.com The Oscar-winner's courtroom drama packs a sobering punch. Rated: 3/4 Nov 20, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Kim The movie was produced fairly well, and the moral dilemmas that were laced throughout the movie definitely gave me pause. Also, the acting was well done. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/20/24 Full Review WETSU 64 Great movie but strange ending Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/20/24 Full Review Meloney We really enjoyed this. A great courtroom drama… colored by the main character’s backstory as an alcoholic. His greatest desire is to create a new life, to begin again, when his daughter is born. There is a lot unspoken in this movie… it’s very good. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/20/24 Full Review ronald a outstanding in every respect....balance...acting...music... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/19/24 Full Review Bruce M This was one of the best plot lines of any movie this year. It should be nominated for best picture at the Oscars.
