They gave better reviews to a far Nick Cage flick, Vengeance - a Love Story, a story as deep as a puddle and predictable as tic-tac-toe. Ignore them. Despite the lame title, Seeking Vengeance is a complex story with great chemistry between the Cage and January J. In addition the story has the female lead breaking against stereotypes and being quite a badass, in contrast to Cage's character, a good guy who finds himself in over his head. In this Cage himself is portraying a character against predictable expectations. Guy Pearce is excellent, as always. And a cast of solid veteran actors rounds out this excellent flick.
