Glad I came across this one, very enjoyable, a smart witted and comical detective who is out to solve any crime. Worth 5 stars See more 10/06/2011 A good start to the Michael Shayne series. Lloyd Nolan is hilarious, yet also a tough private detective. See more 01/08/2011 Move over Phillip Marlowe- It's the original wisecracking PI Mike Shayne!
